Examining the impact of globalization on labor productivity in selected developing countries

Abstract :
One of the most fundamental ways to achieve greater productivity and followed by that the welfare of people in communities, so identifying the main factors of increasing the productivity of workforce is one of researcher’s ambitions in this field. Today in the industrialized world, those countries that have high productivity could be leading in economic and industry, because the main source of economic growth and development is high productivity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between globalization and labor productivity in selected developing countries during the period 2001-2013 using panel data. The results revealed the positive effect of globalization and the R&D on labor productivity and negative relationship between inflation and labor productivity in the studied countries.
